Appointment Attendance Policy

MP Psych Care is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. To ensure availability and continuity of care for all patients, the following attendance policy has been established.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Patients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for all appointment cancellations or requests to reschedule.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

No-Show Policy

A no-show is defined as:

  • Failure to attend a scheduled appointment

  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice

  • Arrival more than [10–15] minutes late, resulting in inability to complete the visit

No-show appointments may be subject to a fee.

Fees

  • Late Cancellation Fee: $[Insert Amount]

Fees must be paid prior to scheduling future appointments.

Please note: Insurance does not cover missed appointment fees

Repeated Missed Appointments

Repeated missed appointments may result in:

  • Requirement to prepay for future visits

  • Limited scheduling availability

  • Discharge from the practice

Emergencies and Exceptions

Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
